Uh, something stated by the creator to be a genuine part and continuation of his own series is canon. Unless you have a different definition of the word "canon". |

i already said so. the original work (the manga) is canon. BoG is not part of the manga, therefore it isn't canon. |

list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god | |

He's talking of the movie like it's a spiritual addition to the manga. The word 'canon' is fan-made and never uttered by AT or anyone connected to him. |

Maybe BoG is not your definition of the word "canon", but it is part of the original story, and that's what matters. Part of the manga or not, it's a continuation of the original concept behind the creation of DB. Besides, the word "canon" comes from the Greek word which means "proper", "genuine". I may be wrong though. |

The only form he would've known. The manga adaptation paints a clearer picture: ![]()
They're around the same age and stature as Goku was at the start of the series. Seems more like an effort of staying truer to the original material than contradicting it. |
